environmental governance

Countries are voicing their concern over the proliferation of multilateral environmental agreements and are calling for more coherence in the international environmental governance system. It is time to take stock how we can achieve more coherent biodiversity governance.

A symposium "Synergies in the Biodiversity Cluster" will be held 8 – 9 April 2010 in Helsinki, Finland. The symposium will be organized by the Ministry of Environment of Finland together with Nordic colleagues.
